Deezer does NOT like Siri on CarPlay

Device Information

iOS Version: 15.3.1

Deezer Version: 9.6.0.3

iPhone Model: iPhone 13

Car Model: Hyundai Ioniq 2019 Limited.

Issue at hand

I’m deathly scared of replying to text messages while I’m driving using Deezer. Any time a function on CarPlay uses Siri for something, the music pauses. Unfortunately, after the prompt the music does not resume on CarPlay.

To actually get the music to resume, I’m forced to open Deezer on my phone and press the play button. Now, after the Siri prompt, the play button is in the play position so I click it twice to reset it. The timeline isn’t actually changing on the app, but it states its playing. Hopefully that steers you all in the right direction for fixing this. It’s been an issue ever since I got my iPhone 13 when it released, otherwise I’m forced to cancel my Hifi subscription.

Also “favourite tracks” never loads on car play. Screen just stays blank

Hello Deezer @Yula , we are 2 years later. The issue is still there. When actually do you plan to solve the issue that playback doesn’t resume after calls and interactions with Siri? It’s super annoying. Thank you

When I use my iPhone with Siri, it returns to the song after ending the call. Is this happing all the time?
