Hi Deezer team,

As already briefly discussed in the following topic:

… it would be great if Deezer on Windows gets a native ARM64 build.

The current Deezer app runs on 32-bits through emulation on Windows ARM64:

Other Electron apps like Microsoft Teams and VS Code are currently being launched for ARM64 as well, resulting in a significant performance boost and lower battery consumption.

Since Deezer also is an Electron app, it should be relatively easy to create a build for ARM64.

Thanks in advance! 🚀

Thank you very much for this feedback @Dennis Ameling our devs really appreciate it, some are very inrigued by this possibility!

I've forwarded your comments straight to the Electron teams for their consideration and planning :wink:

@Rudi is there any update on this? Spotify just launched their Windows ARM64 beta: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Desktop-Developer-Spotify-for-Windows-on-Arm-Win32-Desktop-app/idc-p/5387893#M243280

Thanks in advance!

It's probably in the queue right behind the Linux app...

@Rick P.

I like your sarcasm. 😆

I’m interested in this one also, as emulation layer makes it really slow!

Hello @MickaelG unfortunately and even knowing this is an old topic, there isn’t updates on “Deezer desktop app to support Windows on ARM64”.

So far this as not being consider a priority in terms of development.

Looking at current developments with Snapdragon X Elite and a likely increase in Windows on ARM usage - it should be worth it to reevaluate the priority of an aarch64 version?
