Hi Deezer. Can we expect the app to support the new Bit Perfect option available in Android 14 soon? This would be an amazing edition to the app.

Let's get it happening! This would be an excellent feature to take advantage of Hi-Res/Lossless audio for wired headphones users on Android. Pass it up the chain. I love Deezers service but a feature like this will make me consider another streaming app.

Hi @CT Spartan not for now as far as I am concerned.
Thanks

Hi,

Has the bit perfect output finally been implemented in the Android app ?

I am considering some high end headphones for purchase and I wonder if Deezer is the right application for CD quality streaming.

Without the bit perfect output, staying on Deezer would be pointless.

Thanks in advance for an honest answer !

Thanks for the answer @Jaime.Deezer

Guess I’ll be getting a DAP then, unless there is a way to build a custom LineageOS or Android ROM that bypasses the audio mixer that resamples everything at 48kHz.

Some DAP manufacturers managed to do it, but with full-time engineer working on it, on my free time and on my own, that seems a bit too optimistic.
