Could you please share the error message you received?

It seems to have subsided and I coincidentally forgot to screencap it lol. I’ll post an update if the issue reoccurs. 

@Leonídia.Deezer  Good morning, the error message has been coming back today. 

It’s been several occasions where I will be streaming then the music abruptly stops with the message. I can resume playback at the start. The issue has occurred for both Webplayer and MacOS application.

I have my Deezer Desktop App (Windows Store as well as the one provided under https://www.deezer.com/desktop/download?platform=win32&architecture=x86) crash on me seconds after login.

Each time I uninstall, reinstall, it opens and after login it crashes.

I already reinstalled my whole machine (for another reason ;)) and this behaviour persists. I am running a really clean setup, no firewalls, no Adblocks etc.

Any tips?

I can’t listen to Music in Firefox eiter, because Deezer doesn’t support the browser. :(

Hi @Schwejo @Jarosław Pietruszka, could you please install this desktop version and check if the issue persists.
This version fixed the notification bell, but the buttons inside the Letters did not.

 

Everytime I click on an album the app goes stops displaying  content, they background color and the topbar for menu, minimize or close is everything I can see. If i close the app and relaunch it, the error message appears and I can use it again but only as long as I don’t try to open albums. Then it crashes again.

Hey @Florian.Müller 

Have you tried simply relaunching the app? If yes, then: uninstall the app, restart your computer, and reinstall it. It should fix that annoying little bug out :relaxed:

@bluezzbastardzz Thanks for your reply, but I can assure you that it’s NOT my internet connection. I know it looks like that, but it’s not that, believe me. I won’t go into details here, but as I said, I’ve already investigated this question seriously. And, by the way, I don’t have any problem with video streaming, so 320kbps audio should not be a problem at all.

In fact, at first when I started to encounter this problem a year ago there wasn’t even the error message. The streaming of very long tracks just stopped after the first 2 or 3 minutes and mysteriously restarted automatically at the beginning of the track. That didn’t look like buffering. Now it doesn’t restart at the beginning anymore, and there is the error message, but the problem is still basically the same.

I have re installed Deezer HiFi on My PC and 2 phones. O the phones everything works correctly. But, on my PC app I cannot get hifi quality playback. The  audio is set to high fidelity. I have done a re install. The PC is set to 48000 Hz. The album covers or icons don`t show hifi either. Any help would be appreciated. Signed Frustrated of Thailand

The windows app just closes randomly every couple of hours. The most annoying fact is that it loses its position in a playlist so I have to search for that every time. Please, do something about it! Thanks!

Found a few weird things troubleshooting “an error occurred” in the desktop app. (This happens a lot)
when I copied the song link and pasted it in chrome, the page didn’t exist.

Then I went to the webplayer and the song played fine.
But then I saw that some songs are out of sync regarding likes.

Could this have anything to do with downloaded songs that don’t get updated when something changes perhaps? Sometimes the harddrive needs time to wake up, could that be related?

Some other songs that are out of sync still play fine in the app.

I’ve changed my password and restarted my router and still have the same issue. 

Before few days i updated my deezer windows app and after that it is crushing down every few minutes, what should i do?

Could you please uninstall the app, search for %appdata and delete any Deezer folder you can find. Restart your computer and redownload the app from here, before reinstalling it:

Am I the only one not getting the new Sunday and Monday playlists this week? I don’t seem to have any issues with the subscription, playback or algorithms. The last weekly playlist that successfully updated was the Friday releases playlist.

If you use different browsers or incognito mode, do you have the same issue?
