Hi, i’m not sure if this is the right place for this but if it isn’t you can move it to the correct place.

My issue is well, hopefully the image I upload will tell you what happened. https://i.imgur.com/woBzIUO.png 

It just happened as I shuffled my favourite tracks list.

Web version: you can no longer delete songs from the queue. If you’re playing music, deleted songs return when you close the queue. If you pause it, deleted songs come back when you resume playback.

Filter applying dosent seems to work. When in "popular track" im trying to change filters (song name, almub) the UI of the app is changing but when i click on the track from the my filtered list the play invokes on original song order(just like if i dont change song order).
For example first song in beatles page is "Let it Be". If i sort song by name the first song will be "A day in the life", but when i click on play button on day in the life the "Let it Be" will be played instead.

Already tryied to send this to the support with my .nfo file, but got same answer 2 time in the row and then marked as solved.

 

p.s. deezer app from microsoft store. Version 4.29.0. Already tryed to reinstall

Just checked and my web version of the app has same behavior

Hello @Mr.Popo, what’s the version of your app? Sounds like an issue we had in an earlier version.

I’m using Deezer since october and there are my issues:

  • Deezer 4.29.0 (and older) on Windows 10 sometimes randomly closing after finish song without any error or crash info.
  • When I don’t have an internet some songs don’t play. My playlists are downloaded. Looks like every two or three songs are playing.

Last update seems to have added more bugs.

I deleted a playlist, but that playlist stayed in the playlist column on the left side.
After restarting the app it was gone, but now deezer goes black when opening any other playlist.
It appeared to go into an infinite loop because deezer kept using 100% of 1 CPU thread.
That tread kept running after closing the app (in the taskbar tray) and it even kept running after starting a new instance of the app.
I tried opening the same playlist again and the same thing happened.
After 5 times doing this, I had 5 threads hogging the cpu and fans started blowing.
I could only end those processes in task manager.

Opening that playlist in the webplayer works fine.

@Rudi, I cleared the cache and cookies but it didn't help.

Version 5.0.0 poorly tested. Preferences or account settings page sometimes does not show up, depending on the current view. Back and forward buttons have no history whatsoever - you can sometimes go back one step and that’s all. I’d like to freely explore playlists and browse other albums while listening to something, lack of history is really detrimental here.

also still having a lot of “an error occured” with some songs or albums, on average after about every 15 songs.

Pls make an usual .EXE installer. I don’t have microsoft store so I can’t use your program

Queue button does nothing when playing mix. Is this by design? I’d love to see what’s next and what was playing few minutes ago.

I’m using desktop app 5.0.0.

And a minor bug where the green indicator for downloaded playlists disappears for some playlists.
The songs are still downloaded, but the green indicator is missing until I click on download again.
Maybe something to do with a limit in amount of playlists?

Speaking of limits, I really like the new playlist column, but it only shows 20 playlists.
So when I want to listen to a playlist that’s not in that column, I have to go look for it in the not-so-userfriendly user interface.
A ‘more’ button in the playlist column would be great. And a way to order the playlists as well. :)

On the web app I’ve been receiving a General error message while streaming. Has anyone experienced this type of issue?

Not a huge deal, but MacOS Monterey includes a new “Now Playing” feature in the menu bar. Using the Desktop version of Deezer, the album name and album artwork don’t seem to get called over. Same with the track duration and current progress.

On PC Win7 random freezes - playing music then just stops and app "Not Responding”! Its impossible to close app or even restart PC without "mechanical restart button”! And its not like once in a month but once in 2 days!!!

 If I loose my hardware because of your glitchy PC app I will sue you.

Is there any solution for the “An error occurred, please try again later” issue on win 10?

As of late I can’t open 4 singer/playlist pages in a row without getting that error. What’s worse is the constant stutter in some songs despite having a good internet connection (200mbps wired).

 

Used to relaunch the app when getting the problem, but as of late this is not working anymore. Is there any solution for that? I feel like lately I’m spending way too much time trying to troubleshoot deezer. 

I know that the obvious solution is to look for another service. However, unfortunately in my area deezer is the only option that provide hifi songs. Hopefully Spotify won’t be taking so long before launching their Hifi plan.

Hmmm, thanks for reporting it @nyje!

Have you contacted Dolby about it? It could be something to do with our API but we haven't changed anything at the moment. Any updates due to the Access app, maybe?

Hey! I’m on Mac os Catalina running Desktop app 4.21. After around 40 minutes of listening to music, songs invariably start to pause every couple of seconds. I’ve verified is not a connection issue by using my android app under the same wifi and youtube on the same computer, is there a workaround for this?

Hi there. My Deezer desktop app running on Windows comes up labeled as version 5.0. I was listening to it with no problem while working today when suddenly it’s stopped responding entirely. It started by not responding when I attempted to open the playlist (it was playing with just the thumbnail of the playlist open, but not the playlist page.) However, when that didn’t respond, it began not responding at all to open files, stop playback, anything.

I’ve attempted to end program and shut it down numerous times (because it said it was still playing but there was no music) and now when I attempt to re-open the app, I’m getting just the pop-up window...but it’s completely blank. I can’t see any of my playlists, any of my music, nothing. It’s especially strange because it was working fine and then… nothing.

I’m pretty frustrated right now. I’ve definitely had more issues with the desktop app version than I’ve ever had with my Android app.

There is no more flow in windows desktop app, it still exists in webplayer though.

I use MacBook Pro 2019, macOS Big Sur 11.1.

After the last app update I have errors again and again and again...is very annoying...when I skip a track or when I try to Acces an album

Hi

I’m not sure where should I write about this, but once in a while sound goes mute on Deezer Web on Edge Chromium [Version 94.0.992.47 (Official build) (64-bit)] on Windows 10. It doesn’t matter which artist, once every five or something songs sound goes off, even though the player goes on as if it were playing.

The current workaround is to skip back and forth some songs until the music starts to play again.
