There's two bands "Warning" on Deezer, and they are quite mixed up.

Assuming that the correct approach is moving all UK doom music into that second Warning account, I clicked "This album wasn't recorded by this artist" on the incorrect albums. However, I could not add context, so I wonder whether whoever looks at this will have a clue what this is about.

GTOHello there. I’m posting to ask if the 90s UK/Dutch electronic act GTO / G.T.O. listings can be sorted out, as below. The musicians (Wells and Newman) have many other aliases but those all seem OK.

There is a further complication with a completely different act from 2000 onwards, also called GTO, who are an Italian folk-rock band, I’d like to start by at least getting all of the 90s techno recorded by Wells and Newman under one name.

So this is a complicated one - I decided I’d better not use any of the report buttons until posting here because it might make it worse rather than better!

The techno / hardcore breaks / house act who recorded/released as GTO and G.T.O. between 1990 and 1999 released (at least) the following - so these are all the same artist. However Deezer has them as two different artists GTO and G.T.O. 

Note that G.T.O. seems the most consistent: eight albums/EPs are genuinely the Michael Wells G.T.O. and match the physical releases I have in some cases.

There is ONE incorrect G.T.O. listing, where the titles are in Cyrillic and clearly have nothing to do with the Wells/Newman GTO or G.T.O. :

So I would suggest splitting out that one somehow and leaving the rest alone.

But you will notice where the problem starts, because the album above is listed as G.T.O. and the EPs taken from it, below, are listed as GTO.

Note finally that EP “Elevation” has a sister release (which matches my physical copy) but it’s under G.T.O.

I don’t think this is *generally* a problem with labels, because the way Deezer has them mixed up doesn’t correspond to what was released on React or NovaMute or K=K and I can’t make Deezer match Discogs either. But it is worth noting those two Elevation releases seem to be one on React and one on the Wells/Newman inhouse label Dataflow

The late Chris Jones gets mixed up with a still publishing jazz artist ánd some others!
The bio is for the late Chris Jones, the artist pic is the active jazz artist

The artist "Melanie" https://www.deezer.com/en/artist/4186 is a mess

It contains recordings of an assorted number of artists with the name Melanie. Just by looking at the page you find German, Spanish and Portugeuse/Brazilian singers.

And as a fan of Melani Safka I’m really annoyed that the “artists” image is an image of Melanie Safka. 

The “real” Melanie is https://www.deezer.com/en/artist/338408131. At least this artist has only records listed that are by Melanie Safka.
