Just wanted to come in and wanted to fix my artist name, as it is just a “capitalization” issue where the currently displayed name: “Star” is to be changed to “STAR”, as that would help people find my profile easier and would be appreciated.

Hi, I’m not sure where this fits as the artists aren’t technically on the wrong page, but can someone at Deezer confirm whether work is being done to improve the intelligence of playlist generation? I have stopped listening to new releases playlist because the algorithm cannot tell the difference between a band that I’ve liked, and another with the same name. At the very least, surely a check as to whether it is the actual band I’ve liked is pretty basic, rather than what seems to be a basic name search?

This is very frustrating as the genres are not related, and these are massive examples that will presumably be hitting a large number of people and leaving a bad impression regarding Deezer’s playlist generation.

Hello,

I have just released an album of my band. The band’s name is The Hoods, but there are other bands with the same name and, for some reason, Deezer connected my album (titled Throwback) with the profile of a different band with the same name. Sisyphus has only 2 albums according to Wikipedia and Spotify - Beak & Claw, and Sisyphus. All other releases sound nothing like the band, and I highly suspect are tracks by other artists.

but the artist associated to it is not me , it’s another artist called also Hertz.

I have searched and it seem there is no other Hertz profile with our data to claim.
