Show separate discographies for artists with same name

If you don't mind I will explain how to find  single artist page with their discography . It's very easy .

Type name of artist in search ,and then tap on Artists

Then tap on name of Artist which you like ( I took first for example )

Now is open Discography 

Top tracks

scroll down to see albums etc.

same is on android app

But still the albums listed in the discography are for multiple different artists which happen to have the same name. In this example, there are several artists - one is a metal band, another an R&B artist, and maybe one or two more.

e.g. these two single definitely not the same artist 

I take your point that there is another artist called Wayfarer on the Artists page so perhaps the issue is not the capability of the app but the quality of the metadata. But I’ve seen this on multiple artists, it’s really quite annoying!

Obviously if artists have same name, there can everyone be confused .
I don't know how they then know which album is of which artist .

I only know when we find wrong album on wrong artist discography we can report a problem hoping that they will find out who is who .

Click on 3 dot to open tab and then find Report a problem 

I know exactly know what @whiteand72 means. I’ve had the same experience with other artists.

For example: Streetlight. A great rock band, but when looking at there page, there are other “Streetlight” artists.

When playing a mix, sometimes the wrong artist is chosen.

I did what you mentioned @Nina Nebo, but I’m wondering how long it takes before those other Streetlight artists are removed.

I think artists should have a name that is unique. Then such situations would not occur if there were several artists with the same name. It is really confusing for everyone.

maybe need tell them which albums are not of rock band Streetlight with screenshot and links of albums !?

Like I say this is with artist same name confused and we as listeners can see if is something wrong .

Then we can report that and wait .
