To start off, this album isn't something you just put on in the background while doing the dishes. Not at all! Brío is a burst of pure alternative rap, jazz-core, and an experimental vibe that will absolutely blow your mind. From the very first second, it's clear these guys didn't come to play; they bring a fury and elegance that few bands manage to lock down so damn well.

The drums sound like they're punching you right in the chest live, the bass rattles your tonsils, and the lyrics... oof, the lyrics are pure street poetry—the kind that leaves you staring into space while riding the subway or the bus. It’s not your typical "put your hands up!" anthem; it’s more of a deep dive into introspection, backed by music that is heavy, dense, and totally intoxicating.

Zero filler tracks. Every single song has a reason to exist. It’s one of those short but meaty albums you just listen to from start to finish.

The fusion is real. This isn't a cheap rip-off of American bands. It carries the full essence and raw pain of Latin American reality.

It’s a total trip. It has moments where everything is pure chaos, and then out of nowhere, they drop a super smooth jazz bridge that stops you dead in your tracks.

The Verdict

If you’re looking for something commercial and easy to swallow, you better look elsewhere. Brío is for people who like their music to scrape the back of their throat and shake the ground beneath their feet.

An absolute must-listen if you're into a sound that is raw, smart, and has a whole lot of balls.
