Almost the whole 'bob seger' catalogue is vanished from Deezer...why oh why??

And yes, I know that it has to do with rights, distributors and so on. I did get the official answer by mail.

But why do I still find them in my tidal and qobuz accounts and not on deezer. The latter are only used in my hifi room, deezer is used via my family account.The UI/UX is the one most liked by my family members…

“ You’ll accomp’ny me ” is in several of my playlists, I do miss it when I’m in the car or jogging.
And yes, I could use my tidal lists, but waze/googlemaps and tidal don’t seem to want to work together anymore, so that’s a no-go.

I dig a tiny bit of digging and as folks have stated, licensing is a key factor. However, it goes beyond that. Bob Segar himself plays a role in this discography issue. It is a longer read. It goes into detail about various songs and history, but, the latter portion really lays out why Bob Segar albums are not readily available on digital streaming platforms, as well as, why we see compilations and Christmas Special appearances instead of the 70s rock albums we’re looking for. It’s well written and worth the time for this subject of interest. Cheers all!
