Legendary actor Anthony Hopkins has decided to try his hand at a music career after 65 years in Hollywood. The star of "The Silence of the Lambs" has signed a deal with Decca Classics. Hopkins will release an album of classical music with his label.

The Hollywood actor said that music has always been his first love, and some of the works he plans to release have been kept for decades
His first album, "Life is a Dream", will be released on August 21. It will feature the actor's compositions that he has created over several decades.

Hopkins' original works were performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra, with conductor Gustavo Dudamel. The first single from the album, "Bracken Road," from the actor's work "1947: Suite for Solo Piano and Orchestra," was released on Friday.
