Here comes the new beta 8.0.5.1, we hope you will like the improvements made in this version. Do not hesitate to give your feedback!
Improvements:
▷ [CONCERT] The logo of ticketing partners can now be displayed right below the “Find a ticket“ button in concert details pages
▷ [CONTENT] The status bar is now transparent in content pages (album, artist, playlist, podcast) and profile pages so that it is better integrated to these screens, and the Waze banner is also properly displayed in pages.
▷ [CONTENT] In album and playlist pages, when swiping the cover to see additional information, the navigation icons of the top app bar are now displayed in the right color.
Additionally, when zooming in and out the cover, the navigation icons change colors accordingly.
▷ [PODCAST] The description of a podcast is now displayed in the podcast page with a “view all” button that gives access to the entire text.
▷ [DESIGN] The design of labels was updated for albums (e.g. new, explicit, premium), live streams and Shaker.
▷ [DESIGN] The active state of dottable (e.g. shuffle, repeat) and badgeable (e.g. notifications) buttons was updated in the app - in particular, the badge on the notifications button (when there are unread notifications) is now red instead of purple
▷ [PARTNERSHIP] TIM Brazil’s users now see the standard Deezer logo in the app instead of the former co-branded logo.
▷ [PLAYLIST] In playlist pages, the actions that are directly available through buttons (e.g. download, profile page) have been removed from the playlist’s context menu to lighten it and avoid duplicates.
▷ [SEARCH] Trending searches are no longer suggested when putting the focus in the search bar.
▷ [SHAKER] It is now possible to check one’s musical compatibility with another group member in details in the new affinity page, which is accessible from the “Fun facts” tab, by tapping the group member’s avatar.
The affinity page includes a compatibility score, as well as tracks and artists you will both like.
▷ [SHAKER] In the “Suggestions” tab, when tapping avatars on track cells to open the menu to see people’s relations to the track (e.g. liked, listened to), it is now possible to access user profiles from the menu.
▷ [SHAKER] A specific error message is now displayed when a user tries to join a Shaker group that is already full (i.e. that contains 15 members already).
Bug fixes:
▷ [ALBUM] Long subtitles with several artists no longer flicker when scrolling down album pages
▷ [FAMILY] The cookies consent screen is no longer displayed when logging in to an existing account/profile, but it is when creating a Family profile (kid or not)
▷ [LOGIN/SIGNUP] The welcome title of the unlogged home page of the app is now always displayed on two lines, no matter the language
▷ [LOGIN/SIGNUP] The check icon was fixed in the “Identity” screen of the registration process
▷ [SETTINGS] The app no longer crashes when accessing the “Notifications” page from the settings
▷ [SOCIAL] We fixed a track deeplink so that users are automatically logged in to the app when using it, as expected
