I have Huawei and EMUI 12 in general, so it's definitely not about the firmware 

UPD: The download doesn't work at all and the app constantly freezes anywhere 

This new update made the app barely usable, I have to basically restart the app like 2 times before I get to hear a song. And it also deleted all my downloads and can’t for the love of God get it to download my favorites again, it just keeps loading forever.

Downloaded music didn't work very well before, and now it doesn't work at all 

I also have these issues. We need an update to fix them. These problems appeared in version 7.1.5.1 with the new player opening animation. Speaking of which, I personally prefer the old colors, but now they're too light, which isn't very aesthetic. What's more, when I saw the new animation, I thought I'd have something better like the one on iOS. Could we have the same IOS animation on ANDROID ? In my opinion, this one it’s better.  

Maybe not the correct thread, but how does a person opt out of BETA? Just uninstalling and reinstalling does not work as with 24 hours the app is back to BETA. It is unstable, will not let me download, clicking the toggle back to the left when I release it and takes forever to load my library. Clear cache, uninstall / reinstall does nothing to solve the issue. Samsung A52 5g Android 13.

You have to leave the Beta in the Playstore. And then just wait. You won't receve beta updates anymore and at some point you are at a stable version again. If you do not wan't to wait for that long. Leave the beta in the playstore and reinstall the app.
