Android Beta Release Note 9.0.20

Features :
▷ [PLAYER] All audio output options — Bluetooth and Google Cast — are now unified into the one and only audio output menu, directly accessible from the bottom left of the player, so users no longer need to navigate between multiple icons and menus to manage their device connections

▷ [PODCAST] The podcast playback speed feature is now enabled by default (previously only accessible via the Labs), giving all users the ability to adjust their listening pace directly from the podcast player — from 0.5x to 2x

 

Bug fixes:

▷ [ONBOARDING] We fixed an issue where selecting an artist via the search in the artist picker would not scroll to their position in the list when they were already displayed in it

▷ [PLAYER] We fixed an issue where crossfade was cutting songs short and jumping back to the very beginning when the “repeat one" mode was active, instead of looping smoothly

▷ [PLAYLIST] We fixed a rare crash occurring on the “Favorite tracks” custom cover edition screen triggered by specific network conditions or app backgrounding scenarios

▷ [PLAYLIST] We fixed an issue where track previews were no longer working in the playlist assistant feature (cf “Add tracks” button) for users who had selected high audio quality in their settings

▷ [PODCAST] We fixed an issue where several podcast episodes could not be played, displaying a "The content could not be loaded" error

▷ [SEARCH] We fixed section titles (e.g. "Podcasts", "Music Quiz") being truncated with an ellipsis in the Search tab on high-density Android screens

▷ [SETTINGS] We fixed a duplicate crossfade entry that was appearing in both “Music” settings and Deezer Labs — the option is now available in the “Music” settings only
