Here comes the new beta 9.0.1, we hope you will like the improvements made in this version. Do not hesitate to give your feedback!

Improvements:

▷ [DESIGN] We applied a new border around covers across playlist, artist and album screens to make them stand out better

Bug fixes:

▷ [FAVORITES] We made it possible to drag and drop items to the last position of the preview section in the Favorites tab customization screen

▷ [FAVORITES] We fixed an issue where the app re-marked a song as favorite after the user had previously unmarked it from the track preview sheet

▷ [PLAYER] We fixed an issue where users couldn't access the settings via the toast message displayed when tapping “Launch track mix” from the player while offline

▷ [PLAYLIST] We made sure text color is white when creating a playlist cover with a dark background after setting a custom app theme and color

▷ [PLAYLIST] We fixed an error that occurred when creating a new playlist using a photo for the cover uploaded from the mobile

▷ [PROFILE] We ensured the settings button is displayed in the profile screen even with poor network connection or when the page is loading

▷ [SOCIAL] We made sure that the share tooltip is properly oriented and pointing to the share icon in playlist pages on large screens

▷ [SOCIAL] We fixed an issue where the "Turn off airplane mode" button in the My Deezer Month page didn't perform any action when tapped in airplane mode

▷ [SOCIAL] We ensured that My Deezer Month entry points and sharing assets remain purple and don't follow the app theme and color feature

This is not specific to this version (9.0.1), but I just want to point out again that the scrollbar in Android is pretty bad to use on playlists. At least in my experience (Samsung Galaxy A15 beta version) I can never “touch and hold” the right side scrollbar on my playlists on the first try, just in some tries, because it seems that the “touch area” of the scrollbar is very small and you end up selecting the song or song info first.

It has been a problem for a while, but in comparison the scrollbar on the favorited albums page is pretty easy to select, so theres definitely some difference there that could be improved.

Hi @Marks.Gian

Thank you for reporting this issue on the app but the scrollbar is basically the same on the 2 pages you mentioned. The scrollbar touch area is dynamic and adapts to the list content size which can cause some difference between the 2 pages...

@Raphaël Bertin

I see… I still think it would be an improvement if the scrollbar touch area would be a bit bigger / easier to touch and drag, because it happens that sometimes you touch the three dots of the song before the scrollbar, but the contrary never happens…

Thanks for the reply anyway!

We both agree on this and I’ll report it to the team. We’ll see what we can do to improve the app experience on this point !

After an update within the app, the “Recently Played” section no longer appears on the home screen. Instead, a new feature has been added that lets you pin music, artists, and other elements to the home screen. Because of this change, it is no longer possible to access the “Recently Played” section. Please fix this issue and make the “Recently Played” section active and visible on the home screen again, as I used it very frequently. The new pinning feature could be placed above or below the “Recently Played” section, allowing both features to remain active. As it stands, a newly added feature is blocking access to another very useful one. This needs to be corrected.

Hi @Alper.SIMSEK,
Thank you for reporting the issue on this. Our team worked on this today and the “Recently played” carousel should be back on your home page by tomorrow. I’ll post again here when it is fixed.

Hi again,
Just to let you know that the fix has been deployed and the “Recently played” carousel should be available again if you pull to refresh your home page.

Yes, I just opened the app and checked, and the ‘Recently Played’ section is accessible again just like before. Both features can now be used. Thank you to you and the whole team for your attention to the issue and for resolving it. 😊

hi!

Is there any chance for HiRes music like 24bit/96khz and also exclusive mode?

Yess I agree this would be a huge improvement especially since Spotify support lossless as well. So deezer needs again an outstanding feature expect Flow

Is it hard to ask the board about this as a Deezer employee? 🤔
