I've just started getting a popup saying that Deezer cannot access my tablet's microphone when I try to identify a song. The process of identification still works ok but the popup keeps occuring every time I try to identify a song.It tell me to "update my settings" ???

Hi @Taswegian could you please provide a screenshot with the error message that you mentioned in order to investigate?
Thanks

The popup, (screenshot attached) only appears when I use my Samsung S2 tablet in landscape. In portrait everything is fine. This has only just started happening.

Hey @Taswegian, sorry about this.

Can you try reinstalling the app? Does it help?

I tried the procedure suggested by Deezer ie clear cache, unistall the app, shut down the tablet, reboot and reinstal. It didn't work.So wierd that it only occurs in landscape.

Hello @Taswegian I have asked around and there is a problem with Songcatcher in landscape.
SongCatcher cannot be used on landscape. The pop-up is occurs only if you try to launch SongCatcher when the device is in landscape (However, it will try to identify the songs even with the popup on top).
This is is well known error now and our developers will work on a permanent fix.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Thanks

Many thanks Jaime for the info. The problem with landscape is recent however. It has been fine in both orientations up until about a week ago.

Yes, the problem started after the launch of the new version of SongCatcher.
