I uninstalled a reinstalled the app. There are 102GB of music on my SD card. It’s all still there. Deezer can see it and can see where it is. But when I click “Downloaded Music” it says there’s nothing’s there. So what’s using up my SD card then? I don’t intend to reinstall all of that again. What is goind on? This shouldn’t be the case.

Android, Deezer Premium

Hello @dgoorevitch, I don’t see the space occupied on the SD card on these two images.

It is normal that downloads are deleted when you reinstall the app, more information about this topics on these threads:

Look again. It says clearly, “Deezer data 100GB 41%.

Please unmark “best answer.”

There must be something wrong with Deezer that it can’t access downloaded songs after reinstalling the app.

Please attempt to find the problem and fix it.

Yea, sometimes these moderators click “Best Answer” when it’s not even fixed yet.

@Yula Can you get that fixed? Change the procedure. It’s not fair.

One way to “solve” a problem is to pretend it doesn’t exist. I wonder if the moderators are unpaid home-team rooters and they get personally insulted by clients reporting problems.

Sir, I think you would catch more bees with honey.

It’s not like that @Captain_Eric1 @dgoorevitch… Sometimes we miss some messages around here, just it. I’m just seen it now, sorry about the delay.

@dgoorevitch you would like to clean all Deezer data from your SD card and install it on your phone memory? 🤔

You can try to clean the Cache first and delete the Deezer app again, restart your phone and install the app, after that you need to download all your music again. If it doesn’t work, please send me the Deezer version and your Android version too.🕵🏽

Take care.

It’s too late. I ended up “changing” the location of the music to where it already was, deleting all of it. I have way more space on the sd card than internally so, no. But the official help sent me some info I’ll try next time it happens. I’ve reloaded the card. It’s inconvenient. When reinstalling, it really ought to recognize the music that’s on the card in your own proprietory file.

Sorry about it @dgoorevitch😞
