Stops playing music every few minutes

Would be listening with a good and stable internet connection, all permissions allowed, music would stop playing every 15-30min randomly. The app doesn't close and sometimes it will even lose track of where it was on the playlist. Very frustrating. You have to reenter the app and press play again.

Hi @jandre.swart.96 !

Maybe link below can help you

The answer from Nina doesn't resolve the issue or assist even a little bit. I am at the point where I want to pull my hair out, cause it happens all the time. Doesn't matter what I do. I logged the error before but no one from support even tried to assist.  It does the same thing on my smart TV...playback just stops and I have to press play again. Yes I have a stable connection. Yes my songs are downloaded. Yes my app is updated to the latest version.

Doesn’t this have to do with the battery preferences? On my phone every time Deezer did stop, randomly. And after editing the battery preferences I didn’t had this anymore.

This has to do with the energy saving mode.

Which deezer-Version for Android is used?

No need to be rude. Nina is a fellow user like yourself and isn’t paid to be here. A simple “thank you” and moving on will suffice.

Hi Nina thank you for the response but it does not solve the issue and that is also not the issue at hand. I appreciate the link nontheless!

Also have a stable internet connection and all battery permission are allowed to never put the app in sleep or close it to save battery.

App version is also fully updated and i have restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, cleared the cache ect.

It's a bug on the app itself and the only resolution would be if a deezer developer address the situation internally.

Kind regards.

Hi @jandre.swart.96, thanks for your message.
Once you have already confirmed that your internet connection is stable and the application version has been updated. It also performed some procedures like restarting your phone, reinstalling the app and clearing the cache , please answer the following questions:
• Can you share with us here the error you mentioned, “ I logged the error before but no one from support even tried to assist.”. Maybe record a video or take some screenshots.
• What's the brand and model of the device you are having problems with?
• What's the version of the operating system (Android, iOS, Windows or Mac) installed on your device?
• What's the Deezer version installed on your device?
If happens on Mobile, could you also send me a screenshot from inside Deezer app going under settings and select “Data and storage”

Thanks

Good day Leonídia

Thank you for the response.

I left the initial review on the playstore on 15/06/2023.

Eventually leaving it hear on your support page.

Will attach a screenshot of that review.

Dear Gropplerworm, I wasn't rude or tried to attack Nina... I was merely noting that her solution cannot fix the issue as it seems to completely different from what we are experiencing. But thank you for the concern of our fellow Deezer  mates, my apologies, I am quite frank and to the point, it's a personality, some of us have them.

Hello @jandre.swart.96 thanks for the details.

Indeed here I don’t believe clear cache or reinstalling the app will fix your issue.

This sounds much more with the complaints coming from users mostly with Samsung S series phones regarding the battery optimization like @JaciFlower mentioned above.
