songs aren't auto downloading

Hello,

When I add a song to my playlist or favourites, they do not automatically download despite auto download being switched on.

Either I have to turn auto download off, removing al of my download tracks and turn it back on to download the recently added tracks, or, switch my phone into flight mode and restart it into flight mode, for when I turn the WiFi back on the tracks added then download.

But I just don't understand why songs do not download automatically, despite the download being on.

Hello @clearblueskies

Could you please perform these troubleshooting steps:

If you are using the battery saving mode on your device, turn it off while you are carrying out this test.

  • Go to your device settings ➡ Apps & Notifications ➡ Deezer ➡ Storage & CacheClear Cache
  • Open the Deezer app ➡ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡ Log out at the bottom of the page
  • Turn off then on your device
  • Log in to Deezer
  • Stream a few songs and navigate in the app

⚠ Your Downloaded music on Deezer will be deleted, but you can easily download your favourite playlists and albums from your Favourites.

Let us know how it goes, please,

Thanks :)

Hello,

I contacted the Deezer team and it's a known error with the app it's self, Deezer software team are aware of the issue however there is no information on when it might be patched out, so unfortunately I've gone over to another streaming service now. But thank you for your help,

Kind regards

Jake

Hello @clearblueskies

The team is working on it and the technical error should be fixed very soon.

We are sorry to hear that you are leaving Deezer but we hope to have you back onboard soon again.

Thanks

Hi,

The best workaround so far is to Force Stop Deezer over the App Info in the Android settings!

After opening Deezer again downloads are starting, but after adding a new song you have to Force Stop Deezer again to trigger the auto download!

But nevertheless it is very frustrating to do this every time…

And WHY do I have to enter every single playlist to trigger the download, why it is not doing automatically when I open Deezer.
