Hi @capillonpub, thanks for your message.
Using headphones through a USB-C port can sometimes present various issues.
Some common problems and their potential solutions include: If you plug in your headphones with a USB adapter, but there is no sound, ensure that the USB adapter is compatible with your device and that they are correctly connected.
Try unplugging and reinserting them, and check if the volume is turned up.
If you experience poor audio quality, it might be due to issues with the headphones themselves or the audio settings on your device.
Sometimes, USB-C adapters may experience interference or disturbance due to electromagnetic interference.
If possible, try using a USB-C dongle or adapter with a built-in DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) to improve audio performance.
Not all USB-C ports are designed to support audio output.
Check your device's specifications to ensure that the USB-C port supports audio….
Thanks for the automatic answer but it didn't addresses the related issue!
We have not been able to reproduce the issue on our side.
Have you tried to reinstall the app?
If that doesn’t work, could you please send a video reproducing the problem that you mentioned above?
Thanks

Hi,
When I plug a headphone (without mic) using an usb-c adapters on my android phone (i’ve tested at least 5 differents adapters and 3 headphones, also different phones xiaomi or samsung) deezer start switching songs non-stop.
If I use a headset with microphone instead of a simple headphone, there’s no issue. It doesn’t appear with other music or video apps.
Is there a specific settings to apply in order to avoid this issue?
Thanks, Philippe

This issue may be related to the headphone's TRRS configuration. Standard headphones have a TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) configuration, while headsets with microphones have a TRRS configuration. The non-stop song switching could be caused by the phone incorrectly interpreting the TRRS as input signals.
To address this:
Ensure you are using headphones with a TRS configuration.
Consider trying a different USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, next you can consider for your issues some may handle TRRS differently.
Check your phone's audio settings for any options related to headphone input and adjust accordingly.
If the issue persists, reaching out to the phone manufacturer's support or Deezer support for specific guidance may be helpful.
Hi, as I explained, i’ve tested a lot af different adaptor and headset or headphones, the only thing that is weird is that it works fine with other audio apps, only deezer has strange behavior!
