Random Playback of downloaded content

Hello, today I noticed a Strange behavior at the Android App. If I click on random Playback at the download section, the app plays all my content not only the downloaded. If Offline Mode is selected everything is fine. Seems like the Button mapping is wrong

      We can reproduce it only on the Beta Version, please use the normal version and this issue should be solved.

      For me, at the Beta 7.0.30.2 the Bug is still present. Maybe the Bug is only at the Beta Version?

      No, I don’t have beta versions and do have the bug. Reading the beginning of this thread it seems to have started in a beta version, but passed on to the release version. Currently 7.0.28.69, on a Motorola Moto G8 Power.

        No, I don’t have beta versions and do have the bug. Reading the beginning of this thread it seems to have started in a beta version, but passed on to the release version. Currently 7.0.28.69, on a Motorola Moto G8 Power.

         

        I also don't have beta versions and have the bug I'm currently 7.0.29.67 on a Samsung A23 & Samsung S6 Lite

        Hello everyone, I just tested it on the Android app 7.0.18.81 and if I click on: 

        Favourites - Downloaded Music - Shuffles Plays, it only plays songs that are actually downloaded, even when the app is online. 

        Have you tried these steps?

        You have an older version 7.0.18, maybe the bug was not yet present.

          I still have this bug on 7.0.29.67.

          @Johnathan.Deezer is there any news? It’s 4 months later and I still occasionally forget to set offline and I use up my data.

            Hi @Tony Smith @Marteyn, indeed I can still see it in Beta and normal version. I am checking with the developers if this action is per design or indeed a bug, as the same option has two different actions if you are online and offline.

            For now the workaround if you wanna just listen your downloaded content is to go on Deezer app, activate Offline mode and you will get just that content.

            Hi @Leonídia.Deezer, @Yula, @Johnathan.Deezer , any updates on this issue? It's been 5 months since this bug has been reported and still not fixed

            (And yes it is a bug as it works correctly in the Apple and Windows apps, only the Android app has this behavior (since aprox 7.0.21). Besides this, shuffling all your music can be done from the favorites screen, why would you need the same option in the downloaded music screen? Makes more sense to only shuffle downloaded music from the downloaded music screen. And after 5 months, toggling between online and offline isn’t a workaround anymore, it's now just bad UI/UX)

              Hello @WznOwen indeed I have news about this. With the release of the Beta version 7.1.0.1 that we have plans to deliver from the 24/7 in Google play store, this issue should be fixed.

               [FAVORITES] The "Shuffle Play" action of the "Downloaded music" sub page of the Favorites tab now only plays downloaded content (and not all favorites)

              Later, the fix will be also deployed in the normal version.
