Hey I just opened the Deezer app and I was logged out for no apparent reason. I was asked to enter my username and password l, bit knowing I already had a Google account I used that instead. When I got my account back well over 300 of my favourite tracks had been removed and all my search history was gone. I've been using Deezer since mid 2017 and I use the app quite frequently. What I think happened is that it hasn't saved any of my data since my free trial ended because most of the songs only about 30 left are old songs I added to my favourites a long time ago. I know this is my account because I only have one. Do I have proof of this? No. because nobody prepares for such a situation like this. Nobody should have to prepare for a situation like this. So you will have to take my word for it.

Deezer don't delete tracks - if I had to guess you've signed into the wrong account e.g. originally you were signed in with Facebook and now you've signed in with Google or email (or the other way around).

@Rob Igo is right. You must've used the wrong email address.

I've checked on our side and the account linked to the email address you used here in the community hasn't been used since 2017.



If by any chance you can't figure out which email you've used - get in touch with our support team with confirmation of payment and they should be able to help you.
I only use one email address for Deezer. I have used the same account almost everyday because I listen to music to whilst going to school.

I sometimes play music IN school to. If I used the wrong email address I would be classified as a new member, which I have not. I still HAVE music but it's only the first 20 or so songs I favourited.

I don't know what has happened but I do know that I've only ever used one account. I DID break my old phone when I first download Deezer but I put my account details back in and got all my favourited songs back.

So unless I've been using a dud account this entire time I don't know what could possibly have happened. FYI I use Deezer free. I don't pay for premium. So if that has anything to do with it please tell me.

I think the best thing to do is contact support here and give them as much information as you can (email addresses etc) and they can look into it for you 🙂

We are sorry to hear that! If you cannot find your favourite songs or playlists, you are probably login into a different account? 

You can also recover playlists that have been deleted recently, all you need to do is log into your Deezer account via a web browser then click on this link

If you have no results, then you either:

  • Haven't deleted any playlists recently
  • Are logged in with the wrong account
