Deezer update notifications appear to ensure you are running the latest version for better stability, performance, and new features. You may also be receiving alerts about new music releases from your favorite artists, new podcast episodes, or general product updates regarding new categories added to the app.

App Updates (Performance/Features): Deezer sends these to ensure you have the best experience and that the app is secure and stable.

New Music/Artist Updates: You receive alerts for new releases from artists you have "favorited" (liked).

Podcast Notifications: These occur when you have explicitly allowed notifications for new episodes of a podcast, not just by following/favoriting them.

Marketing & News Updates: You may be opted into receiving updates about new categories or news on Deezer.

How to Manage/Disable Notifications:

Uncheck the categories you do not wish to receive updates for, such as "Artists I like" or "News & Updates".

Note: Some in-app notifications (such as the bell icon notification center) may not be disabled entirely, but you can manage phone push notifications and emails.

To stop the app updates notification, the easiest solution is to update the app through the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
