need help - music keeps stopping randomly

I've had various issues with the deezer app for as long as I've been using it, not being able to access downloads without internet connection, playback stopping and reverting to what I was listening to last time I used the app, everything taking ages to load. I've learned to live with it for the most part since I paid upfront for a year's subscription so had no choice but to keep using it. but now it's just getting ridiculous. my music keeps stopping, every time a new song starts, but also just at random intervals in the middle of songs, this can be as often as every 10 seconds. occasionally it starts playing again on its own, but usually I need to go back into the app and resume it again, sometimes I go back into the app and the song has restarted or even gone back a few songs in the queue. obviously this is making the whole app completely unuseable, and at this point I wish I was surprised but it's just another in a long line of faults with this app. it's not a connection issue, it's not my phone because it's able to play audio from other apps without any problems, it's just on deezer and it doesn't matter if I'm using the device speaker or various headphones. is anyone else experiencing anything similar, and is there anything I can do to fix this, or do I just need to give up on using deezer altogether?
