Glitchy Music Downloads And None For Podcast

Download resume is glitchy . But not bad . It doesn't resume downloads once you leave a network . You got to actually select the tracks and tinker with the download knob .

Not a deal breaker . Still keeps my library in tact . Which is apparently wasn't Spotifys thing . Deezer isn't pretty , but she does her job .

I just had to find something to complain about a otherwise good app . Keep it up .

I am so sorry @johnathanrichardson87 but I really don’t understand what you mean, sorry 🙏🏽

Could you explain it again to me, maybe with a screenshot?

Maybe @jaime or @dee_dirk can help me?

I mean when I try to download tracks and I leave the coverage area during the download , the download won't resume when I reconnect to a wifi point . I have download over cellular disabled .

@Yula

I have an iPhone and unfortunately I can't help here. Merely the information that a download that has started and was aborted due to a lack of internet connection will continue as soon as the internet is available again. 😏

I have Android 11 . Can't stand Iphones . They are overpriced garbage and very privacy invasive .

I actually have to remove and add again a whole playlist that would just not download after leaving a connection point while downloads are in progress . You would think it would resume download , but it doesn't .

Tid bit of info . I'm normally pulling off different wifi spots downloading albums , Deezer isn't allowed to download over cellular . My phone is set to randomize it's MAC address . This could b causing issues with Deezer ?

I have also found that Deezer downloads don't automatically restart (I'm on Android 12 now but have been using Deezer since Android 4.something). Instead of deleting the playlist and starting over again have you tried just killing Deezer and starting it back up again? The other issue I've seen is that Android's default app setting lets the app go to sleep after awhile if it's not playing music. This of course stops downloads until you wake it back up again. Not your problem in this case but something to keep in mind. If this happens, change your app settings to Always Active.
