Thanks for your honest feedback @slynight. We're sorry to hear you intend to leave us. If the troubleshooting recommended hasn't worked for you, we can still help you further. Let us know if you're willing to provide more details.

FYI this is incorrectly marked as answered.

I'm switching back to Spotify for this reason.

Hi

I had the same issue on my Galaxy S10 and it was solved when entered settings->device care -> storage -> clean now

This basically cleans phone cache…

This alone fixed my issue.

No need to uninstall app and lose your offline downloaded music...

Hey @Michael.Schmidt

Doesn't it have it? Sorry about that. I'm not too familiar with the specs of the device.

But I've got an idea. I've seen another user reporting no more issues after installing our Beta Android app. Why don't you give it a go? You just need to register for the program first. More info can be found here :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi there@Michael.Schmidt

Sorry that's happened. Could you try the following steps, exactly in this order, to see if it helps with your issue?

  • make sure you're connected to a wifi network
  • uninstall Deezer
  • clean your phone's cache
  • remove the SD card
  • turn off your phone
  • reinstall Deezer
  • open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
  • reinsert the SD card

Let me know how it goes :thumbsup_tone2:

I tried that many times on the production version with no success.  Btw, the Pixel doesn’t have an SD slot??

Hey@Michael.Schmidt sorry about that :/ Can you please tell me on what device/model/OS version this happens?

Google Pixel 3XL with Android 10.  But after I posted this, I enabled “join beta” and a new version of Deezer was installed (has beta on the icon) and the problem has gone away.  So I’ll stick with the beta and see how that goes and if the error returns, will repost.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that @Henniesmennie have you tried speaking to our support team and follow their step-by-step help? It's worth a try, the link is here :thumbsup_tone2:

Hi@Michela Topao sorry for my reply in English. Can you please try the steps in the link above?

Just started getting this error with the latest version.  Error: Failed to play.  The requested content is not loading.

I’ve followed all the steps to try to resolve the error but it happens on every song play.  Very annoying, I’ll wait to see if a new app version comes in the next short while to resolve it, otherwise will go to stick to Tidal.  Or new Amazon HD?

Same issue. Xiaomi phone. And this is why I'm moving to Spotify.

Hi @Tineke

sorry to be a pain, can you do this:-

Please do the following in the exact order:-
make sure you're connected to a wifi network
log out of Deezer
uninstall Deezer
clean your phone's cache
remove the SD card (if you have one)
turn off your phone
turn on your phone
reinstall Deezer
Log in to Deezer
open Deezer and download at least one album or playlist
reinsert the SD card (if you have one)

I know you've done most of the steps before but would you try again doing the above, it must be in this exact order..

Let us know how you get on.
Hi @Rudi

I have the same issue - on Samsung. Same issue on all wifi and mobile networks.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem on my android phone. I've already tried all the proposed solutions (restart, remove sd-card, reinstall,...) and still nothing.
Deezer Family subscription and the problem is only on my phone, even when I change profile. Both with downloaded and steamed content.
Any way to fix this that isn't on this forum yet?
Many thanks!

my issue is EXACTLY the same but on a Samsung a7 2018. fix please?!
This happened to me too. I couldn't download anything so I tried the prices described in the above link. It seems to have worked but I lost all of my downloaded albums and favourites. If it happens again I'll switch to Spotify!

Non mi carica più la musica presente nelle mie playlist e nelle mie canzoni del cuore. Scheda Sd ok e libera.

@TVC

There are specific issues affecting only Huawei phones, as this topic shows - your phone could be experiencing this. We're working on them and will keep everyone updated. I know it's not much but you already tried most available workarounds.
Hi,

I have a Huawei p10 Lite.

Hi @ro4pvb1c

Sorry about that. Our developers are investigating this for a while now. I'll come back here if I get an update.
But in the meantime, please follow the troubleshooting steps you tried before, but in the same order just to ensure we tried everything. I'd also log out and download our latest version of the app to see if it helps.
same issue on Samsung S7 with Android 8.0.0, Deezer 6.0.5.271. I tried deleting cache, removing SD card, restart, reinstall app. After a while the message appears again.
Hi there @Illya Chaika

Have you tried the troubleshooting here? Let me know if you still need help ;)
