Deezer sucks me dry!

I've been using Deezer Premium for a few years now. Never had any problems.

The last few days however the Deezer app (on Android) keeps going through my data like crazy. I have a 10Gb/m bundle - it was gone within a week. Added 1 GB (10 euros, mind); listened to a few songs - gone within a day. Another GB - same thing. (and yes, it is Deezer that does this, I checked).

This is all quite puzzling. Not to mention expensive. My listening patern is exactly the same as it was a month a go, or a year ago, for that matter. I've been listing to HiFi for almost three years now. So no changes there. Deezer Support is keeping awfully quiet.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi @mennoknight78, Can you tell us if this problem was already there before the new update?

Could it be that your Smart Cache isn’t set right?

I think the cache might be the problem… Thanks for sharing the information!

How did this happen by the way? Does the allocated cache just keep growing over time?

The allocated cache keeps on growing, but not more than you want it to grow. You can set the Smart Cache to anything you want the Smart Cache to be.
