Deezer android app -> sonos

Hi, I’m thinking of switching to Deezer but I’m wondering if it can do this:

I know it has integration with sonos, in the sense that in the sonos app I can add deezer as a streaming service. But I would much prefer to use the deezer app:

So in the Deezer android app, can I select music to then be played on a sonos speaker without opening the sonos app itself? (like how in ytmusic you can chromecast music to chromecast audio devices)

If you are using an Apple (iOS Only), you can bypass the Sonos app and play music directly from the Deezer iOS app using AirPlay 2 .
Otherwise , like you already know ,to use Deezer on your Sonos system, you need to add Deezer as a music service directly inside the Sonos app.
Once linked, you can browse your Deezer library, playlists, and "Flow" directly from Sonos.

I only have android. Are there any plans for implementing sonos connect or whatever it’s called into the deezer app?

And then second question: are there speakers that deezer can directly ‘cast’ to from android but that aren’t just using bluetooth (so if your phone gets out of range, you're fcked) and aren’t google home devices

@Thibaultmol I am in the same situation. Currently on a trial with Deezer but the lack of a "Play on this sonos speaker" function is putting me off.

In my case it is even more annoying because we have a family account and there is no convenient way to switch profiles between family members.

@Nina Nebo a a superuser, do you know how we can get an answer from the Deezer product management or development team?

Hi @lostinberlin you can’t control your Sonos speakers directly from the Deezer app unfortunately.
You can only download the Sonos App and add Deezer on it to play your music.
You cannot dynamically switch between profiles on the Sonos app. Instead of switching profiles under one login, each family member's specific Deezer profile must be added as a separate service account inside the Sonos app
