Chromecast problem

The app crashes when I try to cast to Google Nest Audio.  The speakers chime as if the connection is established, but the app then crushes immidiatelly.

Already tried logging out, cleared the cache, re-installed the app, rebooted phone (Galaxy S21) - all to no avail.

Apart from the above, I love Deezer, so please help to tackle this!

Hey there @DmitryKyiv

where are you based? We only support Google nest in these countries:

Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Coulde this be the problem?

Hi @Yula , thanks for the reply. I am based in the Netherlands. Deezer app worked just fine with my Nest Audio until about a week ago. Is this a new limitation of countries list for Nest support?

If it is because of limitation, the app would just not connect, I guess (it would be a peculiar way to apply the limitation - to crash the app :) The app seems to connect to the Nest Audio but then it crashes.

I have checked the link you posted and it seems ypu meant the Nest support being a possibility to add Deezer as a default music service in the Nest environment. This is true that this is not available in the Netherlands. My problem is not about that but a different way to connect - I click the "Cast" icon on the track playback screen of the app, select the Nest for casting. Nest chimes as if the connection is established but then the app crashes.

This is what Android is saying after several consecutive crashes which happen when I try to cast music to Google Audio.

Deezer team, please fix this.
