Chromecast on Android issue - Playing on both phone and speaker, can't change song

I cast a song to a speaker via the app, and it plays on the speaker. I can pause the song or skip back and forth from the pull down screen, but there’s no way to change the song within the app once I’ve cast the song. In addition, when I find a different song on the app and hit play, it starts playing on the phone, while the previous song is playing on the speakers. It’s common to accidentally have two songs playing, and I have to stop casting and shut the whole app down in order to fix it. This issue happens on multiple speakers/devices.

I’ve had the same issue since I downloaded Deezer over a month ago. App is updated. I’ve cleared the cache. Reinstalled the app.

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S23+. Spotify works perfectly. Tidals works perfectly. Only Deezer has issues.

Also throwing it out there that the Deezer AI virtual agent is absolutely infuriating.

I have the same problem - any solution or progress?

Other apps doesn’t have these Chromecast-Bugs.

Hey @Sirasam @chrisnaldo 👋

Is this issue still happening after the latest update of the app?

Have you tried also to increase the smart cache bar to the max in your app settings? That might help!
