Bug report: keyboard input not registered Playlist search

Hi community,

The playlist search often misses characters that I type in due to processing time on Android. I've made a screen recording that shows this in action:

I'm typing the word: "hero" but you can see that characters "e" and "o" don't get typed due to a delay of some sort and it's annoying (pay attention to the keyboard) , global search is not effected from this issue.

Thanks for the video! This could be a cache issue, probably, as we can see for the typing delay...

Have you tried to clear the cache on your Deezer app? 

Also, try to increase the smart cache tab to the max to see if that helps

Same issue on the Beta app, it's also not possible to erase your search by holding down the delete button in playlist search. Either the input field or the search method is different. Hope this helps

I have asked two users using Android 14 and one user using Android 11 but everything as OK with them 👀

Have you tried to delete the app and download it again? This may help 🙏 

Thanks for constant follow-up Alfredo, I went back to the stable version by uninstalling the beta version and I experience the same issue still when typing in my favorites playlist. I tried a different keyboard app (my device is pixel running Gboard) and it seemed to improve a little, now it only misses the last character when typing, which is still annoying but better.

Im having the same issue. Im running Android 15 and the beta version of deezer. Im also using g-board as my keyboard.
