Android has the possibility to make an exception for an app in the do not disturb (DND). Android does remember the options I select but does not apply them. Deezer isn't showing in the list of exceptional apps and doesn't get through the DND. Disabling the DND is the only option for now (which isn't wanted). Other apps don't have the problem

Hi @Xyrillion, Deezer does not have a built-in feature to make exceptions for specific apps within the "Do Not Disturb" (DND) mode. DND mode is usually a system-level setting that applies to all notifications and alerts on your device. This being said, you should be able to make that exception from the Android settings. Please check my video for the step by step how I have done it on a Samsung Android 12.

Thanks for the reply and the extra effort to include the video! I did as you showed but at 0:31 Deezer still doesn't show on my exception list. Which info do you need that could help you?
It does work as expected on my Lenovo Tab so it does seem device related.
On my phone I (don't ask how) got Deezer listed as an excluded app but:
I can't add a second app (e.g. Spotify) listed as wel so I'm stuck with only one app being excepted.
The Deezer exception only works when I've enabled to allow all media (your YT video at 0:12 "alarms & sounds"). Enabling media this way enables all media including non-listed apps like Firefox, Reddit etc.
Even though the second point could relate to Deezer I think both points are also device / Android related...
Appreciate that you have taken the time to run some tests. Definitely sounds like some limitation of that firmware as on the Samsung phone that I have here, I couldn’t reproduce same limitation.
