BUG: No scrollbar on playlists (Android)

I just noticed that the scrollbar that should show up when I start scrolling does not show up anymore on playlists. I see it in the following screens: Artists, Albums, Playlists (the screen that lists all your playlists). But any playlist that I go into, has not scrollbars.

This option was lost due to the implementation of a new technology that does not include the fast scroll bar. From what I understood in the discussion among developers, it is a limitation that affects other apps using Android Compose as well. We are testing alternatives, but we do not have yet information on when we will have this functionality back.

It happens on my phone too. Smart playlists work fine, including Daily, Discovery, New releases, and Your month in music. This bug badly affects my personal playlists only on the Android app.

This. It’s maddening that I now have to scroll manually rather than just zip to the top of the list to add a song (first world problems, I know)

Thanks, @awesomemac. It’s unfortunate to see the Android app take another step back. Hopefully the devs will find a good replacement. Kind of wish that the implementation waited until the replacement was already figured out, but oh well.
