I have over 10,000 songs on my favorites but get the same ones over and over and over

I've been with Deezer for many years now but I've always seemed to come up with this issue. I have over 10,000 songs and probably over 300 bands on my list but when I go and play my favorites and put it on shuffle I get the same bands and the same songs over and over and over again and it's really starting to make me want to switch to another provider. The only reason I really haven't just yet is just due to the volume of songs and tracks and albums and artists that I have on my list.

My question is how can I fix this because it's extremely annoying when I want to hear stuff that's different. Like I have heard the same song like four times in 3 days and I've been working for 8 hours and maybe streaming for about two of those hours and within those two hours I've heard the same band four times. How do I fix this

Hi @undertow11 !

To fix this, try Improve Shuffle on Deezer:

Clear the Cache: Clear the smart cache in settings to refresh the algorithm.

Toggle Shuffle: Try toggling the shuffle icon on and off multiple times before playing to break the pattern.

Reorder Playlist: Change the sort order of your playlist (e.g., from "recently added" to "A-Z") and then turn on shuffle.

Start with a Different Song: Don't start with the same first song every time you shuffle.

Log Out/In: Sign out on all devices to clear the current queue state.

Why don't they just have a button to do this for you automatically by now? This app has been out for years and this has been ongoing problem for everyone for years now. We shouldn't have to do a list of like eight things just to get different songs on our shuffled playlist. Especially when we have over 10,000 songs from over 300 artists. And for some reason I don't think you'll understand the frustration here

I'm sorry that you @undertow11 don't like the answer/solution offered and that you feel that I don't understand your frustration.

If you have an idea for an improvement that there should be a button to do this automatically, then you can suggest your idea/improvement on the Ideas forum.
