downloaded music disappeared

Overnight all my downloaded music has disappeared. I have logged out and logged back in again and still nothing.

Please help.

Maybe your subscription has changed or expired and now you are on Deezer Free 

 

 

How to check your Deezer subscription status

 

iOS Android

  1. Go to Settings Settings.png
  2. Select Account management AccountManagement.svg
  3. Select Manage my subscription

    You will be able to view your current subscription, the date it began and the date it will end

Tip: Select See plans to view all the plans that are available to you

 

Desktop

  1. Go to your profile Profile.png
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Select MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION

    You will be able to view your current subscription, the date it began and the date it will end

 

You have to be on a Deezer Premium plan to download music. If you are on Deezer Free , your downloaded tracks will not be lost, but you will not be able to access them until you resubscribe. As long as you resubscribe with the same account, all your downloads will be there.

Could you please confirm if you've followed all the steps to download your music:

  • Navigate to Favorites.
  • Select the Music tab to view all your favorite tracks, albums, and playlists.
  • Choose the Podcasts tab to see all your favorite podcast episodes or series.
  • Select DOWNLOAD to make your content available for offline listening.

If you've completed these steps, you can try fully closing the app from the background. When you reopen it, your content should be downloaded.

Another tip that often works is switching to offline mode in the Deezer app. After turning it back on, the app should initiate your downloads.

If you've completed all the procedures and the issue persists, could you please send me a screenshot of the Deezer app with the data and storage option?


 

It is not a case of trying to download my music it is a case of at the weekend I had albums and tracks that were already downloaded and had been there for some time, disappeared on monday when I went too listen to my music.

Not sure what has happened but it is very frustrating

 

Why are u not helping this must be an issue in the app. I don't understand how your downloads can just disappear over night. Surely you have an answer for this issue.

Can you try download an album or playlist again to see what will be happen !?

 

 

Yes I have done that and it is showing in my downloads. I lost over 500 tracks and 30 albums. Not very good is it

Yes, like you said @Suze@37 it’s not very good .

I found two reasons (on Deezer support) why downloads can be disappeared .
 First is when is your subscription has changed from Deezer Premium back to Deezer Free ( like I say above )
Second reason is when you delete the cache . Deleting cache will be deleting your downloads too .

 

If it's not the second reason, then unfortunately you have nothing else to do but download albums and tracks again.
