Our Deezer Next Artist for the month of November was… NewDad
Ever heard about them?
NewDad, is an alternative rock band hailing from Galway, Ireland.
They have quickly become a notable name in the indie music scene and were our Deezer Next band in November.
Their sound blends distortion-driven guitars reminiscent of Pixies mixed with the goth-pop charm of The Cure, all alongside beautifully delicate lyricism capturing the essence of generations past and present. With Julie Dawson on vocals and rhythm guitar, Sean O'Dowd Monaghan on lead guitar, Cara Joshi on bass, and Fiachra Parslow on drums, they bring sombre themes to life through their music. "Angel" is a dark and moody single from their debut album MADRA coming out on Jan 26th, 2024!
