family subscription not working


I recently paid for family subscription but everytime another family member tries to use deezer at the same time as myself, I get bumped off with a message saying someone else is using the account and I need to upgrade to family subscription..... which I already have done!

Deezer Family users should check that all family members are using the correct profile to listen to music. If two people are listening to music on the same profile, it will result in an error message informing you that your account is being listened to on another device .”

 

How to view your connected devices

If you see an error message indicating that music is being played on another device, it means Deezer is being used on more than one device or web page at the same time.

Please check that you've updated your devices with these steps:

iOS

  1. Click on your profile icon at the top left hand side of the application
  2. Select the Settings cog icon at the top right hand side of the application
  3. From the section titled Preferences, select Offline & data
  4. In the Download section, select Manage my devices
  5. You will see a list of the connected devices associated with your Deezer account

 

Android

  1. Go to Settings  Settings.png
  2. Select Devices Devices.svg

 

Desktop

  1. Go to your profile Profile.png
  2. Select Account Settings
  3. Select the My connected devices tab

in addition to the helpful tips Nina has given you, if family members are set up with individual accounts as opposed to profiles, this problem is eliminated.
