Did Deezer just send me false advertising?

New-ish user here, switched from Spotify a couple of weeks ago but still hesitant to go from Free to Premium because of prohibitive subscription prices and the non-availability of a couple of my favorite podcasts in the app. This afternoon, though, I received this marketing email from Deezer:

The advertised Deezer Premium subscription price is PhP129/month. That’s about US$2.5/month. Yet when I clicked the link, here’s where I was led to:

No PhP129/month rate in sight. That’s a steep difference between about US$2.5/month and US$10.99/month.

What kind of spammy deceitful advertising are you doing, Deezer?

Hey @sep.mahino

The currency has been changed to US dollars. This happened recently. The adaptation of the mail text was probably forgotten.

I didn't receive an email like yours. But I wished it was 129 pesos per month in the Philippines ( sa price as Apple music lossless )

LMAO what a piss-poor explanation of corporate incompetence! It also doesn’t explain how PhP129 became the equivalent of US$10.99. Guess I’m really not signing up for Premium anymore.

You're upset, that's understandable. But please be careful with your choice of words!
I just stated the facts, nothing more.
