I tried listening to music and a message popped up asking me to subscribe to a different plan for 14.99 per month for 6 profiles, I am happy with my current 9.99 per month, how do I continue without being forced to change???

Hey @bradzolomon

Only one stream is possible with Premium. If several family members want to listen to music at the same time, a Family subscription must be booked and a profile assigned to each member.

Hi @bradzolomon

if you're getting a pop up message asking you to subscribe to Family it's because somebody is streaming music using your account on another device (you can only listen to music on one device at a time).

You can manage your devices (see this link: - https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115004531965-Managing-Connected-Devices- ) and if you don't know who's using your account then I suggest changing your password (this will log your account out on all devices and you'll have to sign in again).

Let us know how you get on 🙂

Hi Brad,

Then the case might be as Rob said, without the nefarious hacking aspect requiring a password change.

If family members are attempting to stream at the same time, even inadvertently, this might initiate the prompt for a Family plan. I know this behavior occurs with Amazon Music, but I can’t speak to deezer as I am the only one using my deezer account, so I’m suggesting it as a possibility.

Best of luck.

Hello, so the fact that we can load the app on 3 devices does not mean we can listen to music at the same time? Feels a bit archaic?

thank you for letting me know 🙏🏼

Thank you, I was under the impression multiple profiles in premium mean we could listen to music at the same time.
