Direct play from Deezer to Sonos

How is this going Deezer, can do it on Spotify for years, what's the hold up don't you want to be better??

Always. But this involves a lot of work from a lot of resources. So far we haven't stopped, but it'll take some time until we complete it. Thank you for your support and patience though, we know it can be frustrating 

I am doing a demo as Google Music is going away. Bit of a deal breaker, Tidal and Spotify both have this feature. Let us know if it changes. 

We sure will @exhook we will be developing this but we still need more time before we get there - thank you for your support 

Any news on this ? You are saying for year that you are working on it but still no news.

Hello, because of the action of Niel Young, I decided to look for another streaming service. The dealbreaker is now: can I cast to my Sonos audiogear from Deezer? What is the last statement?

We would be happy to have you on board! 

With Deezer, you can use the Sonos Controller app to stream your entire Deezer music library to any room in the house.

Just follow the instructions to set up Deezer on your Sonos:

On mobile

1. Open the  Sonos app for Android or iOS
2. From the Settings  tab, tap Services & Voice 
3. Under Music & Content, tap Add a Service 
4. Select Deezer  from the list
5. Select I already have an account
6. Type in your username and password when prompted, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete adding your account

On desktop

1. Launch the  Sonos desktop app
2. Select  Add Music Services
3. Select  Deezer
4. Select I already have an account, and click AUTHORIZE
5. Type in your username and password when prompted, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete adding your account

Yes, I know, but using the user interface of the Deezer app or the Sonos app is a great difference. The Sonos app has a terrible user interface.

Using the Spotify app you use the Spotify app, and cast/stream the music to Sonos. I expected this too for Deezer.

Deezer has been working for 3 years to get their Android app to play directly on Sonos? I guess I won't hold my breath. It's a shame, lots of ex spotify customers like myself looking for a new app. I'm trying your hi-fi subscription and it's a shame deezer wasn't ready.

I am in the same situation, looking for an alternative to Spotify. Having to manage your music in one app and then use another app to play it on your Sonos system is a dealbreaker. 

I am in same situation, except that I don't mind the Sonos app. But on the Deezer app I can see Flow, daily mix, suggested playlists I might like. And on Sonos I get Flow, plus some generic playlists that contain lots of tracks that have nothing to do with my tastes.

Selecting a Sonos speaker seems like a simple thing.

4 years in the making. A year ago it was under development still. 8 months ago still under development.

Plenty of Android users, plenty of people paying HD+ with you.

When will this be available through the Deezer App? As a premium service, you should be aligned better with premium home wi-fi... there's enough demand, and only half cooked answers for 4 years from the Deezer development team.

Let's go!!!! When will this be available for Android and ISO.. 

That is unfortunately not entirely true as certain parts of my music (like daily mixes, friday releases, monday discovery etc) are not available in the SONOS app.
