I want to use an old iPhone as a ‘streamer’ and control it via Deezer connect with another iPhone . However, Connect only seems to work IPad to IPhone or vice versa. Is iPhone to iPhone not an option? Do the 2 devices need to be different?

I had this issue a while back. After a lot of discussion with Deezer support it turned out that I could not use MY old iPhone as for some reason Deezer recognized my new and old iPhones as the same device. Having said that when using a different device I still could not get the Connect feature to function as advertised. Deezer needs to release a paper Connect function like Spotify or Tidal.
