Why does Chromecast not work?

Please make sure you don’t have deezer playing on another device. 

Please change your password here: https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

Reinstall the app, and log in again with the new password. 

Cast again after these steps and let me know if the situation improves! 

I have the same problem in some devices from 3 days! I don’t have deezer playing on other device.

if I play deezer on my phone, I don’t have any problems. If I try to cast on chromecast devices, I have errror!

I also can't get Deezer through Chromecast, the other apps are working, something must have happened.

Yes, i have the same situation. I use Pioneer speaker and with this device don’t work. I tried with nest hub: sometimes work, sometimes i have nest hub crash!

In my experience normally deezer with chromecast is an agony. But in the last days is worse. I think that i will change over to spotify

I have the same issue. Chromecast not working since yesterday. App is not playing on other devices. Other chromecast enabled apps work fine. Deezer, please fix this! It is obviously an app bug

Hello! Since yesterday we can’t connect to our Chromecast. (It is a Deezer issue because Spotify works🙁) 

We deleted the app, changed password but still nothing! 
 

This morning, Deezer Chromecast is working. From iPad to JBL soundbar.

I didn't try from Android to Pioneer speaker. 

I will try during the day

Still nothing here. We have a Harman Kardon Soundbar with a build in chromecast and nothing works with deezer, tried both Android and ios. Spotify works perfect. Please Deezer, fix this! 

I tried from Android phone to Pioneer and from Android phone to JBL soundbar. Still nothing! Don't work

I speaked with Deezer support. They are working to solve the issue

Now deezer is mostly used for streaming in high Quality through chromecast… how is it possible that this option is broken? Why did you break a good working option?? Fix it! This is not a free app… we pay you good money for this!!

We are waiting that Deezer developer fix this issue.

Third day I can't stream via Chromecast and therefore listen to Deezer. Can someone please make this official?

Yes! The fifth day!!! of their service is not fully operational and Deezer has still not commented on this, which I consider to be scandalous behaviour towards his paying customers! I set up an account on Tidal and I'm transferring all the performers and playlists there. I expect compensation from Deezer.

Still not able to stream Chromecast. Getting really frustrated. It is a paying service. Free Spotify works perfectly…. Still hoping that Deezer will fix it soon. 

Have you opened a report to deezer help center?

Yes I reported it to Deezer with a request.

since 12 Feb 2022 i also can’t transfer music from Deezer App (android phone and tablet) to Chromecast device (old model), connected to my AV receiver HDMI input: grey screen on TV and rolling circle on the phone only, then nothing. But it works with (new) Harman Kardon Oasis Citation device with builtin Chromecast support. No reaction to my request in Google Play. 

I think that the issue is randomic.

I try with pioneer speaker with old Chromecast version and don't work ever.

Than I try with nest hub and sometimes don't work, sometimes work. More times don't work

Do you have any news?
