James Arthur returns with PISCES, his sixth studio album. Inspired by his zodiac sign, the record marks a bold shift in style—swapping big, emotional ballads for softer, dreamier soundscapes.
PISCES marks a bold shift from the powerful, raspy ballads James Arthur is known for, like his cover of Shontelle’s “Impossible” and “Say You Won’t Let Go”.
This new album explores themes of vulnerability, mental health, and self-acceptance. “I’m a Pisces, and I’ve always resonated with being a dreamer and quite sensitive”, Arthur says. “All the songs are a small part of me”.
The journey began with the late 2024 single “ADHD”, which set the tone with raw lyrics and stripped-down production. The latest release, “Celebrate”, continues that path—a raw, heartfelt anthem about resilience and learning to live in the moment. With lyrics like “I don’t wanna hate myself no more” and “Can anybody hear me?”, the track offers a powerful look into Arthur’s personal journey.
Calling PISCES his most personal album yet, Arthur co-wrote the project with longtime collaborator Steve Solomon. Each track offers a glimpse into his personal growth and emotional complexity.
To support PISCES, he announced the Pisces World Tour, kicking off later this year and running into 2026. The tour promises an immersive experience built around the album’s emotional and sonic landscape.
