“Music inspired by...” track mixes are showing song mixes from tracks that are NOT on my favorites

I understand the tracks are new but the “inspiration” is supposed to be based on music from my favorites. Hence the statement under the section title “Discover new tracks similar to your favorites”

I am getting recommendations for tracks/music which are NOT similar to any music in my favorites or in any playlist. These are from a completely different genres of which I do not and have never listened to. I did have an old playlist at one point, imported from Spotify. I recently shared this playlist with my son when I added him as a member of my Family subscription. No music was actually played though it was this basic interaction with the playlist that started the issue. I have removed the playlist but the unsimilar recommendations persist. They do seem to be slowly fading away and replaced by more appropriate recommendations...

I really like the “Mixes inspired by...” feature and use it often, except for the last couple weeks where it has not really been possible... I have fallen back to the track mixes instead. I hope soon the situation settles down and solves itself as I listen to more tracks.

Maybe you wasn't stream music enough !?

Mixes inspired by .... suggest mixes inspired by the tracks you've recently been streaming or is taken from your Favourite tracks .
If you have more Favourite tracks (marked with purple heart) and stream more tracks/music you like then recommendations will be simmilar to them .

“Mixes inspired by...” is VERY uneven.  I did a test today and played a mix inspired by 80’s indie pop band The Field Mice and the first three songs played were all generic French pop songs not at all in the same style or from the same era as The Field Mice.  Then I tried a mix inspired by a band called Smokescreens - they are sort of a modern version of The Field Mice (indie, jangle pop).  It was a mix of just one Smokescreens album!  The next two mixes I tried worked just fine.  I much prefer Spotify’s “Recommended Radio” where you can launch a mix from any band’s profile based on their genre/style.  I just noticed that there is now a “mix” option on some artists pages - this is new (to me) - but will test it out and see how it goes.
