It would be great to have an option to allow Deezer to automatically downgrade streaming quality on a poor network connection, or if the network is unusable have it switch to offline mode until connection is restored.
Actually they should be 2 x separate settings cuz some people would rather go offline than sacrifice quality. You can set either or both. The auto-nitrate-downgrade should take precedence if enabled.
I know Tidal has this feature in some form (bitrate downgrade optional, offline mode always-on, but doesn’t auto-recover once connection recovers).

I did see later that it does prompt to downgrade the stream quality on a poor connection.

Id rather a setting where it does that automatically (I was driving at the time so a prompt isn’t convenient).

I’m hoping it would automatically resume the original quality once connection improves?

Hi there @teqteq

Really like this idea - it could be a reality in the near future. Thank you for your suggestion, I've passed it on and left my vote

Good idea. If your connection gets worse because of signal or because you ran out of data and have less speed.
