My Deezer account is being used by someone else

i chcecked all the logged in devices, there was only one. i unlinked it. then i reset the password bud the message comes back again:

I think this process can be automated by setting up a subdomain on deezer for those who think their accounts have been compromised, and a survey on why they think it happened, what device they are using, etc. It would be a lot easier to manage that page than constantly writing back to everybody who has a problem with hacked account.

That should fix the problem.

It happened while I was using the web version. My phone was charging at the moment and there is no other device connected with my account. It happened a few times.

Hey @Junglebeats @swiftneo I have closed session in alldevices where your account could be openes. I also sent you a password reset link via email. Although you’ve done this already, I would appreciate if you can click on the link and reset your password one more time. Then login again.

Hi,  

I keep getting a message that my account is in use on another device.  I have delinked all devices, deleted all apps from the family devices and reset my password.  The account setting shows account no being linked to any devices however the music stoops and I still get the message it is being used elsewhere.

I have now cancelled my subscription to be absolutely sure my account has not been hacked.

I keep getting logged out. I am the only user and do not share my account with anyone else. Also changed my password and removed other previously connected devices. Getting the same error. Please help! Considering Spotify...

Hi @Chris.Jones555 @diego_knight I have updated your account in te system and close sessio in any device where the account could be opened. I also sent you an emai with a password reset link. Please clic on that link, reset your password and login again.

Hey @Nharmom @Stella.Pecorino @Philippe Muri @Alexandre Soares I am sorry about the problem you are experiencing with your account.
I have close any session where your account could have been opened if you already changed your password as that won’t close session immediately. But we do have the tool to do it from here. Now that I’ve donde that, please click on the link I sent you via email and proceed to reset your password. After that login again.
That should fix the problem.

I have been a subscriber for a few years now. Starting today, I am getting the message that Deezer cannot play on my android phone because it is in use elsewhere. I know for a fact that it is not.

I have the family plan, and i have it on my and my wife’s phone. I have deleted on both phones, and went through the process described elsewhere in this forum. I then opened the web App on my computer and am getting the message there. I have also reset my password multiple times, to no avail.

I own and operate a WISP, so I know that my phone was not hacked as I am VERY strict about security and the apps on my phone and running through my network.

If indeed there are others using my account, then Deezer itself was hacked. If this is a programming error on a recent applied update, please acknowledge it and address it.

i dont know that person and its really annoying because my music is stopping all the time and than i get a pop up with sorry someone else is listening

but what I dont get is... if I change my password, how can the hacker still access my account? their session does not immediately end? they are still able to connect with the old password even though its no longer valid?

some smart alek is adding albums and songs to my library despite having changed my password. please help immediately!

hi, I have changed my password too many times to count, and my music is still being interrupted with this message:

I am having the same kind of issue since few days

My account stops every 5mn, informing me that I can't use the same Deezer account on 2 devices at same time... Which of course is not the case.

Please advise

I’ve also reset my password and checked the connected device; however, I still have songs I haven’t heard in my recently played list. Please kill the session of my account too.

I've noticed that I'm getting some weird music in my flow and recently played lists. All the artist and album names look made up, and it's all just instrumental music of various genres that I'm certain I've never listened to (nor would I want to). Is there some way to reset my account so I can get rid of this?

For the past 5 days I have received a msg saying that the app is being used on a different device which is not. It is quite annoying as I can not listen to one whole music without being interrupted by this msg. Please help!

I got multiple device warning. After that I changed password. And I checked list of devices, there are only my old phone and new one, old phone is not in use anymore so I deleted it. I also detached account from Google. But I saw there are a lot of unknown numerous to me in playlist recently listened. How is this possible? If someone else is using my account I should see new device if I'm right.
