My Deezer account is being used by someone else

Hello, I keep finding music saved to my favourites and playlists that I have not set up or even listened to and also saying someone is listening the same time as I'm using my account. I have tried resetting my password, logging in and out and still having these issues??

I have killed session in all devices where your account could be open and I sent you a password request link to your email. Please click on the link and enter a new password.
That should help to fix the problem.

I changed my password, deleted all linked devices, re added my device and changed my password again and it seemed to work

i also added 2 factor authentication to my email address.

I checked everything and my previous Deezer password was unique to Deezer so not sure how my password was compromised. Are you going to implement 2 factor authentication for added security?

Hi @Donizete Beck @Sarah-Moon I have unlinked devices from the account and closed session in all devices where your Deezer account could be opened. I have also sent you an email with a link to reset your password. Could you follow those steps and then inform me if the problem persists?

Hi, I've been having the same issue as everyone above! I keep finding random songs added to my favourites and a whole load of song searches I've never searched for.

Why is this happening?! Has deezer been hacked?? 

 

Thanks @Jaime. But I had already reset my password. Can you explain why this has happened? Have our accounts been hacked? Are you able to identify locations for where the accounts were being used?

The number of people facing the same hacking issue is, in lack of a better word, unsettling.

I’m having the same issue. But can’t find a way to log them out. I don’t know who it is either

As a first security step I suggest to reset your password to prevent this user from login to your account .

Completly random albums that I don't listen to started appearing on recently listened and are being added to my favourites. They are from unknown artists and bands. And they completly overshadow the albums I do listen to. Sometimes I open the app and a music from one of those albums is sitting there like I was listening to it before. No one uses this account besides me. Whats is going on here?

someone is using my deezer account. I allready change my password but its still going on. Could you please reset my account? 
 

i dont know that person and its really annoying because my music is stopping all the time and than i get a pop up with sorry someone else is listening

Hi @ofek1000 please bear in mind that you can connect your Deezer Premium account to up to 3 devices but only listen to music on 1 device at the same time. Please either stop the music on your Mac or on your cell phone.

Hey @Nharmom @Stella.Pecorino @Philippe Muri @Alexandre Soares I am sorry about the problem you are experiencing with your account.
I have close any session where your account could have been opened if you already changed your password as that won’t close session immediately. But we do have the tool to do it from here. Now that I’ve donde that, please click on the link I sent you via email and proceed to reset your password. After that login again.
That should fix the problem.
