Tips and Tricks - The HowTo thread for everything deezer ❓

Hello everyone . Deezer way of use and UI were changed in the last few years so I figured it would be a good idea to recreate the old good tips and tricks thread with a more recent information for the new and veteran users on the platform . Everyone in this community is welcomed to contribute to the effort and publish tips and tricks you think we can benefit from . Let’s start with the first tip shell we ?  Where do I find my MP3 files on the mobile APP(Android) ? Deezer is allowing paid subscribers to upload MP3 files purchased by the users . Uploading MP3 files are great if you can’t find the song/Album you want to listen to on Deezer . While Deezer has 70M files under the belt , not the entire catalog is available everywhere due to contracts and copyrights , therefore uploading missing MP3 is a great way to listen to your favorite album without looking for it somewhere else . Here is how to find your uploaded MP3 files on the APP ( Android):  Navigate to Favorites  Navigate to Play

The song that impacted you the most -THE THREAD 🔉

Listening to music is not something we do just for fun . Music can help us during challenges , affect our emotions and make us show our emotions uncontrollably . What made me post this thread are my own experience and challenges over the years and I decided we can have a pretty nice thread here to everyone to read , learn and relate to others .   The song that impacted me the most is “Dead come near me” by the doom metal band Draconian . This song is taken from the second album by this Swedish band  Arcane rain fell released 19 years ago . When I got to know Draconian I was in my mid 20s and went trough a difficult time , dealing with a severe OCD which impacted my life so much . Those few years were really one of the bad years I have ever went trough . This song made me very emotional and I remember myself crying when I was listening to this song at my room realizing I need to get help . This is all maybe seems to be sad , but actually it’s not . Album page refreshes when navigating back to it

Hi For a while now , in multiple versions the albums page refreshes automatically . I’ll demonstrate it by the following scenario :  Go to the albums section under favorites tab  scroll down to select an album to play .  Enter that album page  Go back to the albums pageResult : Albums section is refreshed and goes back to the beginning It doesn’t save the latest location . That is really annoying , Deezer version - Beta - 7.1.0.36 Android version -11It happens for about 6 months now , even more . Thx .

Every year I like to go through all the albums I was listening to , came out the same year and pick my favorites . This time I'm going to share it in the community .Finally I'll add an honorable mention section for the albums/EP that didn't make it to my list . Album of the week! 💜

A new weekly thread I have decided to make that will be posted every Monday (Hopefully)  What is your favorite album of the week? Artist - Lacey Sturm - Album - Ketonic MetanoiaYear - 2023 This album continues the  self titled debut album by the former Flyleaf vocalist.  Basically the album is a rock album with catchy sound. Some aongs includes her harsh vocals but on most of it Lacey using her clean.  I think the album is a bit longer than it should however there are no fillers imo, even not the intro (Maybe only the Outro).  You are welcomed to post yours in the comments. The Top albums of 2022! 🎸🎵

Hello all ! We had a wonderful year , filled with fantastic albums , so nothing is better than give those great albums the respect they deserve :-)  In the coming 10 days I’ll share with the community my top 10 albums of the year . You are welcomed to share yours as a comment to this post .That could be a great recommendation post for everyone to read and enjoy . Today I’ll start with the best album of the year in my opinion , “Circus Pop” by “Lady Silver”  To give it the respect it deserve my review on that particular album would be longer than the rest . I hope you’ll enjoy this post . Link to the album   "Lady Silver" comes from Tel Aviv. The band consists of Max Spon (vocals and guitar), Daniel Krichevsky (guitars), Gal Motiuk (bass and keyboards), and Nir Hakim (drums). Hello everyone .One of the things I have noticed while using Deezer in the last 6 years is the fact not much third party tools to extend the using of Deezer are available . Upgrade to Family from Premium without losing moneyNot for now

Guys, please allow us to upgrade from Premium to Family without the need to cancel premium first. It doesn't make any sense. As for now, users need to cancel the premium subscription, wait for the account to be on free mode and then they can subscribe to Family subscription. It's not convenient, it is annoying and doesn't make any sense. Thx.

Guest editorNot for now

For every genre you have an editor that picks the songs and gather it to a playlist. I suggest add an option to guest editor. Once in a week at the day the regular playlists are updated, one user will choose 30-40 from various genres and build a playlist. That playlist will be available for the subscribers until the next update. Users can applied using a form like google form or something and one of the community managers will pick one of the users and DM him/her with the details. The guest editor that has been chosen will gather a list and add a link to the songs in Deezer before sending it back to the community manger (Or whoever will handle this).

[TIP] How to cancel automatic recommendations on web player

Hello ! Probably some of you don't want Deezer to recommend new tracks when an album you listen to is finished , so this is how to cancel it . This tip is relevant for web only : 1.Click on the queue icon 🥚 2.Checkout the V mark on checkbox 3.Done Use the attached images to cancel this feature .

[TIP] Control Deezer with Chrome extension

Hi . If you want to be able to control Deezer on Chrome , from every tab here is how. Download the Deezer control extension from the Chrome web store : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/deezer-control/cmkmelneeccijablfclenghkcbopdemg?hl=en Next install the extension . After the installation complete you will see an icon in the top right corner of your browser (If your language is set to English) Pressing on the icon will show the song currently playing including the cover , Play/Pause/FF/FB & Heart button to like the song . If you press on the settings icon you will be able to set a few options : 1. Pop up style which let you choose the type of the pop up that shows the info 2. Hotkeys to control the music from your keyboard 3.Notifications 4.Misc See attached image Enjoy .
