Mac desktop app – update check is broken

I can recall, that there was an update check functionality, and it was working well when my desktop app was on v.6.something. However, to find out that there is an Apple Silicon ready version 7.0.1, while my version was 6.0.290. I had no other way than to download the image from Deezer download area and check inside. Update check functionality is broken, set aside autoupdating an app. Please fix ASAP.
