Samsung Multiroom App Feedback: login and other issues

Situation is really unacceptable !


“Press:  July 2018 – Samsung Electronics Co. announced the addition of Deezer High Fidelity Lossless Audio on select Samsung soundbars and wireless speakers. As of today, music fans and audiophiles can stream music and listen to tracks the way it was originally intended.”

 

Two years later and the system is completely broken. I have not been able to listen to any music for months.  You would expect close relationship within this partnership between on R&D and Customer Support and that happy customers are valued by both companies.

Very, very disappointing from both !

 

 

I too have now cancelled my Deezer subscription. Surely Raun if we are paying for a service and it is not available then Deezer did not ought to still be taking money from us

As I posted earlier this is typical Samsung not supporting their products after a period of time. They have lost my custom as I will never buy one of their products again.

Exact same issue here.
Cant login to deezer.

Tried all the proposed solutions.
Nothing works.

Started acting up on us 3-4 days ago.

Hi all,

Latest here, heard nothing back from Samsung..... 

The app seems to work flawlessly, until I try to play anything. 

Logs in OK, can access play list, favourites, albums, everything. Then when I push the button to play, after whirling around for a bit, it tells me I have no Internet connection. 

BTW, 

I appreciate that the man from deezer lays the blame entirely with Samsung, but I get no feeling that deezer is pushing Samsung to resolve this on our behalfs. After all we are paying deezer!

Understanding that you have some attemps to solve this with Samsung.

Have you tried to escalate it to your leadership to try to work with Samsung as a team ALL for the the satisfaction of the CLIENT!?!?!?

Because you answer looks like there was no chance to do anything and thats over.

Guys, let's face the ugly truth. Neither Samsung nor Deezer gives a shit about solving this issue. I'm pretty sure, this will never get fixed.

There are two things I have done:

1. Changing from Deezer to Spotify to get the speakers working again. And to be honest, I really like Spotify 😊

2. I will never ever again spend a single penny on Samsung products again. I also keep everyone I know telling about my bad experience with Samsung and advice them to not buy from them.

I’ve just had an email from Spotify saying that I can have 3 months free if I join up.

Can't log into deezer, but only from today, on Samsung multiroom app. Seems to be the same problem but just started this morning (13.5.20). Any news as to resolving this issue. Over to you Deezer.

Ps. Tunein on Samsung work fine, just sayin. 

This is not too good reviews on deezer. I have already signed up with Spotify but still holding onto my deezer account, hooing you will find a solution soonest

Thanks for the update Gaz, I see you are aswell on point of this matter, I also had some contact with Samsung and if I read your answer correctly then the problems is with Deezer,  now I got some some answers from support and multiroom but it seems Deezer is not fully commited to help us because we have made contact and updating this forum and lacks answer from someone of support of dev team of Deezer.

I am waiting a month already and since it is almost the end of the month,  good moment to change because i am not going to wait another month for an answer or update.

Looks like the problem is back again for me. Was working until yesterday. Fails to connect complaining of no internet when there plainly is as other services work just fine. Once signed out it's impossible to log back into my Deezer account.

Do you know what changed, was it an update from deezer because samsung haven't updated the multiroom app or firmware in ages

 

I just tried installing an older version of deezer and the multiroom app from around February, neither worked

Hi Deezer,

This weekend my task is to recreate my music library on Spotify so that I can switch over to them if the Deezer/Samsung Multiroom app issue isn’t fixed by the end of my Spotify free trial.

I’m being generous - I could cancel Deezer now and just switch. Like many others I became a Deezer user after the free offer that came with the Samsung Multiroom speakers - it’s very ironic that this now becomes the reason for me to switch to Spotify.

Deezer is a much smaller company than Spotify and this should mean quicker decision making to look after customers. Let’s see some communication from you on this! I’m assuming no information means you’re taking no action.

I can now log into Deezer on the app but when I try to play something I get the message no connection to internet.

Older versions crashes right after startup. So with current version of Android it is impossible to check older versions, for sake (

Can’t login to deezer now for 5 years. I don’t know how slow you guys are working, but it is ridiculous.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work with my WAM 6500 (R6), although I can log in with my soundbar MS750.

The issue is not fixed.
